(Obit states she was 12 years old, 1860, when they immigrated.) They then moved to New Ulm, MN. and later married (Jan. 1866).
In 1883, they came to Day county SD. and homesteaded about 4 miles East of Bristol. In 1912, they retired and moved to Butler and in Aug. of 1916, they moved to Webster, SD. to live with their daughter.
Member of the Methodist Church.
The oldest daughter and youngest son died in their infancy.
